Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or Education with biology focus.
• 3+ years of experience in educational publishing and/or editorial work.
• Experience with Next Generation Science Standards.
• Experience writing and editing instructional materials for science classrooms.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and multitask in Agile environments.
• Experience with digital curriculum development and digital products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Classroom teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop high-quality instructional materials for 9-12 Biology, in digital and print formats.
• Research educational trends, content standards, and competitive products.
• Produce scientifically sound, curriculum-aligned products that are accurate and error free.
• Prepare manuscripts ensuring readability and grade-appropriate language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet workflows, schedules, and goals.
• Communicate project requirements to authors, consultants, vendors, and editors.
