McGraw Hill is seeking an Associate Academic Designer for 9-12 Biology to assemble high-quality content for our biology program. The role focuses on planning, editing, and coordinating with authors and vendors to deliver standards-aligned materials for digital and print formats.

The ideal candidate has a biology or biology-focused education background, 3+ years in educational publishing, NGSS experience, and strong editorial and organizational skills within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or Education with biology focus.
• 3+ years of experience in educational publishing or editing.
• Experience with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
• Experience writing/editing instructional materials for science classrooms preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in an Agile environment.
• Experience with digital curriculum development and digital products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Classroom teaching experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Plan and develop high-quality instructional materials in digital and print formats.
• Research educational trends, standards, and competitive products.
• Produce scientifically sound content meeting curriculum requirements.
• Prepare manuscripts ensuring readability and grade-appropriate language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow workflows and meet project goals.
• Communicate project requirements to authors, consultants, vendors, and editors.
