Job summary

You will plan and develop high-quality instructional materials for 9-12 Chemistry, aligning with NGSS and curriculum standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Education with a Chemistry focus.
• 3+ years of experience in educational publishing or editorial.
• Experience with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
• Experience writing/editing instructional materials for science classrooms.
• Strong organizational, time-management, multitasking, and adaptability in an Agile environment.
• Experience with digital curriculum development and digital products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Classroom teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop high-quality instructional materials for print and digital products.
• Research educational trends, standards, and competitive products.
• Produce scientifically accurate, curriculum-aligned content.
• Prepare manuscripts ensuring readability and grade-appropriate language.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet workflows, schedules, and goals.
• Communicate project requirements to authors, consultants, vendors, and editors.
