Job summary

Smith+Nebhew is seeking a Biologics Account Manager in Phoenix, AZ to drive Sports Medicine Biologics sales within the territory. You will be a product consultant for Biologics and soft tissue injury repair, converting physician accounts and educating surgeons in operating rooms.

You will build strong relationships with surgeons, hospital staff, and administrators, and collaborate cross-divisionally to raise product awareness and adoption. A robust territory plan and meeting quotas are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years direct sales experience; 4+ years in medical/hospital environment preferred.
• Experience selling technology and/or capital products to multiple hospital call points (surgeons, nursing, administration, facilities, biomedical, information systems).
• Proven track record of achieving quota year over year.
• Ability to sell to teams of buyers and multiple decision-makers in hospital/medical settings.

Responsibilities

• Convert physicians and accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Train surgeons on Smith+Nebhew products through education programs within your territory.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, hospital OR staff, administrators, and clinicians; cross-divisional awareness and adoption of Sports Medicine Biologics portfolio.
• Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota.
• Travel within territory with 1–3 overnights per week; occasional national travel.
