Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a biologics manufacturing technician to support cGMP operations on a dedicated B1 shift (6am–6:30pm, Thu/Fri/Sat and every other Wed) in the Texas facility. You will work with engineers, calibrate systems, perform rework and quality testing, and help optimize production processes.

The role requires at least an associate degree in science with 2+ years of relevant experience, or a BS in engineering with less experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in science or equivalent experience with 2+ years in related work.
• BS with 1+ years relevant experience; engineering BS with 0+ year is acceptable.
• Candidates follow established procedures and guidelines for semi-routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer / autoclave.
• Buffer / media preparation.
• Equipment preparation (CIP/SIP).
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Column chromatography.
• Tangential flow filtration.
