Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a manufacturing operator to support cGMP biologics production. You’ll work with engineers on setup, calibration, and quality testing of materials and equipment, using systems like LIMS and SAP to monitor processes.

Responsibilities include shipping, inventory, sampling, equipment prep, buffer/media prep, and scale-up cell culture with chromatography and filtration steps as part of a highly regulated production team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience.
• Associates degree in science with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 0+ year relevant experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs.
• Works under close supervision and adheres to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer / autoclave.
• Buffer / media preparation.
• Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Column chromatography.
• Tangential flow filtration.
