Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a skilled professional for cGMP manufacturing in a biologics production setting. You will work with engineers on setup, calibration, rework and quality testing of parts and final materials, using systems like LIMS and SAP to collect data and guide on-line adjustments.

Responsibilities include handling cell culture, chromatography, filtration, buffer prep and equipment prep (CIP/SIP). A BS with 6+ years GMP experience is required, with independent problem-solving and procedural

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent with 6+ years of GMP-relevant experience.
• Capable of independent action and initiative on new assignments.
• Ability to develop and revise procedures.
• Experience assisting supervision in planning area activities.

Responsibilities

• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer / autoclave.
• Buffer / media preparation.
• Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Column chromatography.
• Tangential flow filtration.
