Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a manufacturing operations role in its biologics production facility. The candidate works with engineers on setup and calibration, and performs rework and quality testing using systems like LIMS and SAP to support on-line adjustments to products and processes.

Responsibilities include shipping, inventory, sampling, running glass washer and autoclave, cell culture, and tangential flow filtration.

Qualifications

• Education requirements as listed: high school diploma with 2+ years, associates with 1+ year, or bachelor’s with 0+ year.
• Performs routine tasks and learns company policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and recognize deviations from accepted practices.

Responsibilities

• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in-process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer/autoclave.
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Tangential flow filtration.

Education

High School diploma (or equivalent experience) with 2+ years experience

Associates degree in science with 1+ years relevant experience

Bachelor's Degree with 0+ year relevant experience
