Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a manufacturing technician for cGMP operations in our biologics production facility. You will assist engineers in setup and calibration, perform rework and quality testing, and use systems such as LIMS and SAP to collect data and adjust processes.

The role covers shipping finished materials, maintaining inventory, sampling, autoclave operations, buffer/media prep, CIP/SIP, cell culture, chromatography and filtration.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience.
• Associates degree in science with 1+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree with 0+ year relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer / autoclave.
• Buffer / media preparation.
• Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Column chromatography.
• Tangential flow filtration.

Education

High School diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience

Associates degree in science with 1+ years relevant experience
