Job summary

Lundbeck Seattle BioPharmaceuticals (Lu-SBP) in Bothell, WA is seeking a scientist to perform downstream process development experiments for monoclonal antibodies using chromatography and filtration techniques. Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2+ years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent combination totaling 4 years.
• Basic understanding of liquid chromatography, membrane filtration, and protein chemistry.
• Familiar with basic laboratory equipment such as pH/temperature meters, pumps, scales, pipettes, and centrifuges.
• Excellent verbal communication to interact with Process Development teammates.
• Well-developed organizational skills and proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Ability to comply with FDA GMP documentation regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10/Office.
• Must be able to lift to 30 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Performs small-scale downstream process development experiments for monoclonal antibodies, including chromatography and filtration.
• Prepares intermediate samples for analytical testing and purification.
• Supports downstream purification to enable upstream process development activities.
• Performs analytical methods such as UV-Vis, turbidimetry, density, and HPLC/biolayer interferometry.
• Organizes data and prepares presentations and reports.
