Job summary

Lundbeck Seattle BioPharmaceuticals (Lu-SBP) in Bothell, WA is the Process Development Center of Excellence for Biologics within Lundbeck's global CMC organization. We support development from cell line through commercial validation of Drug Substance and Drug Product manufacturing processes.

Join a team that performs downstream process development for monoclonal antibodies using yeast and mammalian expression systems, driving early and late-stage manufacturing design and analytical support.

Qualifications

Accredited bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in biotech/pharma or 4 years total experience.
Basic understanding of liquid chromatography, membrane filtration, and protein chemistry.
Familiar with basic lab equipment (pH meters, pumps, gauges, scales, pipettes, centrifuges).
Excellent verbal communication to collaborate with Process Development teammates.
Strong organizational skills and proactive approach to responsibilities.
Ability to comply with FDA GMP documentation regulations and safety practices.
Proficiency in Windows 10/Office.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Performs small-scale downstream process development experiments for monoclonal antibodies using chromatography and filtration.
Prepares intermediate samples for analytical testing including miniature chromatography and ultrafiltration.
Prepares purified protein product to support upstream development and downstream activity.
Performs analytical methods such as UV-vis, turbidimetry, density, SE-HPLC and protein A HPLC, and biolayer interferometry.
Organizes data and prepares concise presentations and reports.
