Job summary

Avid Bioservices is seeking a Scientist, Downstream Process Development, to advance downstream purification for protein-based biologics. You will lead chromatography and filtration development, scale-up, and technology transfer, collaborating across Upstream Process Development, Analytical Sciences, MSAT, Manufacturing, and clients to progress programs from early development through manufacturing.

The role emphasizes design of experiments, data analysis, and effective communication with clients

Qualifications

• Experience in downstream process development for biologics.
• Experience leading technical projects and teams.
• Knowledge of GMP and CMC development activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop downstream purification processes (chromatography, filtration).
• Scale-up and tech transfer activities.
• Collaborate across Upstream, Analytical Sciences, MSAT, and Manufacturing.
• Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support regulatory and client-facing activities as needed.
