AbbVie seeks a Sr Director Process Engineering BDS CGT to set enterprise direction for biologics drug substance and CGT engineering strategy and execution. The role partners with sites, operations, quality, and external engineers to deliver scalable platforms and lifecycle upgrades.

Responsibilities include governance, standard development, risk management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory readiness across multiple manufacturing sites and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a relevant technical discipline.
• Typically 15+ years of engineering, manufacturing, capital projects or regulated manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated capability in biologics drug substance and CGT process engineering strategy and technology deployment.
• Experience working across global functions, sites, suppliers and external partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead process engineering strategy and platform deployment for biologics drug substance and CGT.
• Provide engineering governance, standards and technical assurance across capital projects.
• Deliver scalable engineering solutions with safety, quality, compliance and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with sites, operations, quality, validation/CQV and external partners to enable project delivery.
