Job summary

AbbVie Product Development Science & Technology – Biologics Analytical is seeking a director-level leader in North Chicago to guide global analytical activities from clinical development through commercial manufacturing.

You will drive analytical strategy, implement new technologies, and manage cross-functional teams across mAbs, ADCs and gene therapies, ensuring timelines and quality in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading CMC development organizations.
• Knowledge of regulatory interactions and NDA/BLA filings.
• Analytical method development, transfer and troubleshooting for biologics.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical development for mAbs, multispecifics, ADCs and other biologics.
• Drive method validation, transfer and troubleshooting across programs.
• Partner with R&D and Operations to align development strategies.
• Ensure deliverables meet timelines, budgets and regulatory expectations.
