Job summary

Lilly (Lebanon, Indiana) seeks an Engineer - Automation Engineering to join the Automation Engineering Department. The engineer will support automation for site operations and capital projects, ensuring robust control systems and GMP-compliant operations.

During startup and project delivery phases (2025–2028), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate control strategies, maintain validated state, and support continuous improvement within Lilly quality standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field; minimum experience in automation engineering, operations, or manufacturing (2+ years).
• GMP knowledge and regulatory requirements; computer system validation.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide site automation support across operating areas and for capital projects.
• Collaborate on design reviews, FATs, and validation documentation.
• Tune and troubleshoot control loops and VFDs; ensure lifecycle management of control systems.
