Lilly is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer – Automation Engineering for the Lilly Medicines Foundry in Lebanon, Indiana.

You will lead automation for biologics operations, oversee design, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems, and mentor teams to ensure GMP‑compliant delivery. The role requires 8+ years in automation engineering, experience with DeltaV, Rockwell, and MES systems, and collaboration across Process Engineering and Project Management.

Formación

• Minimum B.S. in Engineering or related discipline and 8+ years working experience in Automation Engineering, preferably in Biologics manufacturing (e.g., cell culture, purification, or drug substance/drug product operations).
• Experience in design, development, commissioning and qualification of highly automated manufacturing sites utilizing SCADA, DCS, PLC and MES systems.

Responsabilidades

• Mentor process control team, including design, controls philosophy, implementation and commissioning.
• Process control work implementation and coordination.
• Review and monitor financial performance; commit to meeting targets.
• Develop and implement the Automation Engineering Project Plan.
