Job summary

Lilly Medicines Foundry in Indiana is hiring for a senior Automation Engineer to lead and mentor the process automation team across biologics operations. You will drive design, commissioning and validation of advanced control systems, including DeltaV, Rockwell, MES and SCADA, while coordinating with process engineering and quality groups.

Initial location at Parkwood West in Indianapolis with potential relocation to Lebanon, IN. Some travel required to support FATs and vendor sites.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or related discipline and 8+ years in Automation Engineering.
Experience in design, development, commissioning and qualification of highly automated manufacturing sites using SCADA, DCS, PLC and MES systems (DeltaV, Rockwell, Syncade, etc).
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and mentor the automation team.
Lead design reviews, DeltaV application software reviews and FATs.
Oversee integration of vendor skids and PLC/HMI-based equipment into site architecture.
Develop and execute automation engineering plans and validation strategies.
Maintain validated state of site control systems per Lilly quality standards.
Support capital projects and drive productivity and compliance.
