Job summary
Lilly in Richmond, VA is seeking a Sr. Principal DeltaV Automation Engineer to lead the DeltaV platform delivery for a GMP monoclonal antibodies facility startup.
The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, qualify, and integrate automation systems for Drug Substance manufacturing. Responsibilities include leading DCS workstreams, coordinating system integrators, and developing validation strategies while supporting the GPACE automation program and site readiness ahead of
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Process Automation with experience on Emerson DeltaV Platform.
- 5+ years of experience in or supporting manufacturing.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of the DeltaV platform and related software integration teams.
- Manage one or more system integrators for fully delivering and testing DeltaV software.
- Collaborate to deliver a fully integrated Automation/MES solution scaled to the business needs.
- Develop site automation processes and participate in validation strategies.
