Advocate Health in Winston-Salem is seeking a full-time laboratory technician to perform standardized chemical and physical testing on clinical materials. You will operate balances and equipment, calibrate instruments, and assist with specialized studies under supervision.

The role requires an associate's degree in biotechnology or related field (or equivalent experience), strong safety awareness, and ability to work a 40-hour week in a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 to 5:00.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate’s degree in biotechnology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and laboratory equipment recommended.

Responsabilités

• Conduct standardized chemical and physical tests on specimens.
• Operate balance and lab equipment for preparation of samples.
• Calibrate equipment and perform routine adjustments.
• Assist with microanalysis, enzyme studies and chromatographic work.
• Support experiments involving animals when applicable; handle monitoring equipment.
