Under supervision, you will handle animals, assemble housing, manage supplies, and document inventory while communicating with supervisors and staff.

This role may require weekend work and exposure to animal allergens; prior lab animal experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED with lab animal experience.
• Valid state drivers license.
• AALAS Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Capable of performing duties as LATT trainee.
• Safely handles and restrains all animal species while maintaining proper identification and location.
• Assembles caging equipment to provide safe housing for all species.
• Completes and documents supply and diet inventory weekly.
• Communicates pertinent information to clinical, supervisory, and management personnel in writing and verbally.
• Provides species-specific environmental enrichment items and supports enrichment activities.
