Job summary

You will supervise daily biobank operations, assist faculty with specimen transport and storage procedures, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory environment with safety procedures and SOPs.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and file sharing.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain confidentiality; adapt to multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide department financial support: procurement, budget monitoring, expense reconciliation, reimbursements.
• Assist human resources activities for the department.
• Manage department assets, inventories, and space.
• Lead emergency response coordination and facilities work orders.
• Chair and schedule EEH biobank committee meetings and prepare agendas.
