The University at Buffalo seeks an Instructional Support Associate to manage the EEH biobank facility and provide department support in asset management, HR, and procurement. The role emphasizes laboratory oversight, SOPs, and effective collaboration with faculty on specimen processing and storage.

You will oversee day-to-day biobank operations, prepare cost estimates for supplies, and ensure safety training and policy compliance within a dynamic academic environment at UB.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Laboratory experience and adherence to SOPs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States by start date.

Responsabilidades

• Support department finances including procurement, budget monitoring, and expense reconciliation.
• Assist human resources tasks within the department.
• Manage department assets, inventories, and space.
• Lead EEH biobank committee meetings and document minutes.
• Develop and implement specimen transport, processing, and storage procedures.
• Provide training on safety and procedures for biobank resources.
