Qualifications

• 4+ years of machine operating experience.
• Ability to operate at least two major finishing machines.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in the use of a PC.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Examine job specifications to determine machine setup, operating time and quantity to be finished and shipped.
• Set up and operate finishing equipment according to standards and production specifications; make adjustments to fix registration/cut-off issues.
• Collaborate with operators and assist during operation; perform basic bindery functions.
• Maintain quality and quantity of finished product and follow checking procedures.
• Record time and materials for each job using automated data collection; assist maintenance as needed.
