Job summary

Walsworth in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Bindery - Operator II to set up, operate, troubleshoot and maintain a range of equipment including collators, 3-knife trimmers, folders, flatbed trimmers, tipper, 3-hole drill, and belly band.

You will read and interpret job instructions, work toward production goals, train new operators, monitor quality, and cooperate with shift teams to ensure smooth handoffs and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in a Bindery role.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and maintain assigned machinery.
• Troubleshoot machinery to assure efficiency and quality to meet production schedules.
• Read and understand written job instructions.
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental and company goals.
• Interpret and apply department policies and job instructions.
• Communicate effectively with incoming shift personnel for smooth handoffs.
• Maintain accurate counts and monitor production quality.
• Follow all safety procedures as set forth by the company.
• Assist in training new Bindery Operators.
