Qualifications

• Familiarity with paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors to identify paper conditions and adjust machines
• Basic mathematics (decimals, metric units) to understand dimensional requirements in job orders
• Ability to read and interpret written work orders and machine operation sequences
• Knowledge of bindery equipment such as folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines
• Ability to read instructions and maintain dimensional accuracy per specs
• Ability to set up, adjust, and operate multiple folding, collating and cutting processes
