Job summary

The Sheridan Group is hiring for a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) in New Hampshire. We will train you to run high-speed bindery equipment, with overtime opportunities and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.

Join a fast-paced, team-oriented print manufacturing environment where you’ll learn to operate cutters, folders, stitchers, and binders, ensuring quality and efficiency on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic hand tools.
• Able to read and interpret basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes).
• Team player with reliability and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
