Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in bindery, printing, finishing, packaging, or manufacturing.
• Experience operating and setting up production equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment.
• Monitor and operate multiple machines simultaneously.
• Review job specifications and production requirements before processing work.
• Maintain production output while meeting quality and productivity standards.
• Complete production documentation and job performance records.
• Perform quality inspections throughout production runs.
• Verify finished products meet customer and company specifications.
• Identify and resolve quality concerns before products move to the next production stage.
• Assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Operate drills, stitchers, vacuum tables, and other finishing equipment.
• Communicate equipment or production issues to leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures, operating standards, and PPE requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
