Job summary

TSG - The Sheridan Group in New Hampshire is seeking a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift to run high-speed bindery equipment. We’ll train you and offer a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks, plus overtime opportunities and a fixed Monday–Friday schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

You’ll learn to operate bindery machinery, set up cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, while ensuring quality and hitting daily production goals in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Ability to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Pride in delivering quality work.
• Reliability and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
