Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Pipe Designer with strong CAD/BIM capabilities to model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems. The role requires 2–5 years in piping trades or 5+ years in BIM using Revit, CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage.

Remote work is possible for the right candidate, with collaboration across project teams. The position emphasizes multi-project management, accuracy, and coordination with build and design teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping and process piping trades or equivalent vocational training.
• 5+ years BIM experience using Revit, Fabrication CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage.
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• Available to work assigned schedules.

Responsibilities

• Creates mechanical pipe models per project specs, drawings, models, control diagrams, submittals, RFIs, and modeling software.
• Updates drawings, models, specifications, RFIs, change orders and submittals as projects progress.
• Collaborates with build and design teams to prevent design-related construction errors.
• Manages multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Produces spools and drawings for prefabrication, site installation maps and control documentation.
• Generates and communicates RFI information specific to projects and trades.
