Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking a skilled BIM/VDC Detailer – HVAC Pipe to join our Florida team. You will produce detailed, coordinated BIM models and shop drawings that align with project scope, schedule, and budget, while supporting coordination and fabrication planning.

The role requires familiarity with Revit and MEP layouts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across project teams to maintain constructible designs.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or trade school training in drafting, BIM, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC, mechanical drafting, or MEP modeling OR equivalent combination of education and relevant training.
• Experience working with construction drawings, mechanical systems, or MEP layouts in any capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models and shop drawing deliverables in accordance with company standards and project requirements.
• Produce accurate, coordinated and constructible model-based information for downstream use.
• Maintain organized and consistent model structure, views, sheets and file management practices.
• Support coordination efforts by incorporating clash resolution decisions and coordination outcomes into models and drawings.
