Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a VDC / BIM Coordinator to support model-based coordination for complex semiconductor facility design projects. This role sits in the Digital Delivery team and focuses on BIM coordination, clash detection workflows, model reviews, and coordination meeting preparation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on BIM/VDC experience and is expanding knowledge under guidance. Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience within a design or engineering environment.
• Experience with semiconductor, cleanroom, or advanced manufacturing facility design preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support design-phase clash detection and BIM coordination workflows across multidisciplinary models.
• Prepare, facilitate, and document recurring coordination meetings with engineering teams and partners.
• Aggregate and manage federated models in line with BIM Execution Plans and client standards.
• Review clashes and design conflicts, driving resolution with discipline leads.
• Track coordination items, update logs, and monitor progress toward resolution.
• Prepare coordination reports, meeting notes, dashboards, and basic metrics for teams.
• Support model-based design reviews focusing on constructability and operability.
• Apply BIM/VDC standards and QA/QC procedures under guidance.
