Job summary

Shawmut Design and Construction is seeking an Assistant Virtual Construction Manager in New York. This role leads BIM design and coordination, ensures project standards, and aligns with the Sr. Director of Engineering Services on company strategy.

Responsibilities include BIM setup, coordination meetings, and integration of BIM workflows with architects and engineers. Candidates should have 3+ years in BIM and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction or design industry, with experience in virtual design, construction and BIM.
• Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering or construction related field required.
• Working knowledge of BIM systems and software (Revit, Bentley, Vico).

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM design and trade coordination on Shawmut projects.
• Develop BIM execution plans (BEP) and project standards.
• Coordinate MEP and design teams to ensure BIM model accuracy and integration.
