Job summary

MMR Group seeks a BIM Technician at our North Carolina site. The role focuses on coordinating models and producing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinated 3D models for electrical projects.

You will work with foremen and project teams to resolve conflicts, ensure code compliance, and support RFIs through accurate drafting. Strong REVIT MEP and Excel skills are essential, with attention to detail and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience as BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler.
• Proficient in MEP REVIT and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design models (coordination, shop drawings, as-builts).
• Coordinate the model with other trades and assist with system design.
• Read and interpret contract docs and one-lines for 3D modeling.
• Review drawings for conflicts and ensure code compliance.
• Work with project management to resolve RFIs.
• Perform site surveys and collect field measurements.
