Job summary

The BIM Engineer will develop and coordinate detailed BIM models and layouts for electrical and mechanical systems within complex power distribution projects. This role acts as a key link between engineering, project management, customers, and manufacturing, ensuring designs are accurate and executable in real-world production and installation environments.

This is not purely desk-based design; you will be involved in coordination, problem-solving, and supporting projects that move from design

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a BIM oriented role using REVIT.
  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and construction documents.
  • Experience coordinating MEP systems within a BIM environment.
  • Experience with consulting engineering firms, construction firms, or contractors on commercial/industrial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and customers to resolve design challenges.
  • Support engineered-to-order project execution from design through build.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring


  • 5+ years of experience in a BIM oriented role using REVIT

  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (required)

  • Experience working with a consulting engineering firm, construction firm, or a contractor supporting commercial or industrial projects

  • Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and construction documents

  • Experience coordinating MEP systems within a BIM environment

  • Working knowledge of tools such as Navisworks or similar coordination software is a plus

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Ability to take general direction and translate it into accurate design deliverables
