Job summary

HorseShoe Beverage Company is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical BIM Modeler to support the design and coordination of complex electrical systems on large-scale industrial projects. You will create, develop, and maintain accurate 3D models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring collaboration between internal teams and external trades to minimize constructability issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Information Modeling, Computer Graphics Design, Drafting, Engineering/Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revue. EVOLVE MEP experience a plus.
• Understanding of Trimble RTS units and the information needed to execute point layouts in the field. Additional Trimble experience a plus.
• Electrical/General Construction Experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical projects using Autodesk Revit.
• Interpret redlines, sketches, and engineering drawings to produce 3D models and associated 2D installation drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP, civil) to ensure model accuracy and resolve design or constructability conflicts.
• Perform clash detection and model reviews.
• Assist in the development of construction documents, prefab shop drawings, and as-built models.
• Develop Trimble point layout drawings

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Experience and Education

• Degree in Building Information Modeling, Computer Graphics Design, Drafting, Engineering/Technology, or equivalent industry experience.

Physical Requirements
