Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM modeling, Revit detailing, CAD drafting, or construction documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with building systems coordination across disciplines.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and construction specifications.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D building models using Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM/CAD software.
• Prepare construction details, technical drawings, material specifications, and installation documentation.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, design schematics, and project specifications.
• Coordinate building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural components.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy, constructability, code compliance, and adherence to project requirements.
• Update drawings and models based on design changes, client feedback, and coordination reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to resolve design conflicts and improve coordination.
• Support project presentations and design visualization using relevant modeling or graphic design tools.

The successful candidate will collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and construction teams to coordinate building systems, revise models as needed, and support efficient project execution.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience with additional tools such as ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper, or SolidWorks is beneficial.
