Job description

We are seeking a BIM CAD Detailer who will be responsible for all design-related activities including architectural support services, renderings, structural engineering support, and BOM creation for our projects. You will also be involved in new product design and product improvement.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft detailed plans, prepare bills of materials (BOMs), and develop connection details and drawings using 3D CAD or Revit
2. Create 3D models/renderings for architectural concept presentation
3. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and contractors
4. Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy & completeness
5. Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to resolve field issues and provide technical support as needed
6. Participate in design reviews, quality control processes, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years experience and proficiency working with 3D modeling software
• 5+ years experience in BIM
• Formal training of architectural design standards & best practices
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with aluminum extrusions
