Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a BIM/VDC qualified professional to support the Reality Capture & Digital Layout team within the Virtual Construction group. The role requires travel to jobsites for laser scanning, drone surveying, and control setup, with coordination drawings and model-based layouts for field teams.

You will work with laser scanning, 3D modeling, and drone data processing, contributing to standards and collaboration across design and field teams.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM/VDC technologies in the AEC industry.
Proficiency with CAD software is required.
Proficiency with laser scanners preferred.
Proficiency with robotic total stations preferred.
Proficiency with drones is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide model-based layout coordinates and coordination drawings to field surveying teams onsite for layout of self-perform concrete, steel, utilities, and other systems.
Scan, process, register, and publish laser scan point cloud data for coordination.
Create flight plans, conduct flights, and process drone data.
Convert point cloud information to BIMs for design and construction detailing, including parametric content.
Support innovation through research and testing of new technologies.
Develop and maintain standards relating to process and procedures.
