Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a BIM Coordinator to act as the central resource for BIM/CAD questions on municipal water projects. You will ensure seamless coordination from inception through completion, applying expertise in Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks to deliver accurate, compliant designs.

The role requires hands-on BIM leadership, collaboration across disciplines, and mentorship to junior staff. Hybrid work options and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related work experience in BIM coordination or engineering design.
• Diploma or Certificate preferred; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design preferred.
• Experience with Autodesk tools (Revit, Civil 3D, Forma) and collaboration platforms is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM workflow and project requirements across disciplines.
• Provide guidance and mentorship on BIM standards and processes.
• Review models and drawings to ensure client and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with design groups to exchange project information and maintain integrated design development.
• Lead presentations for project stakeholders and manage tasks related to production design.
• Support field activities with data collection and on-site issue resolution.
