Job summary
Black & Veatch is seeking a BIM Coordinator within the VDDS team to function as the central BIM/CAD resource for municipal water projects. You will ensure coordinated models, advise on modeling standards, and support project delivery from inception to completion.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of BIM experience, proficiency with Revit, Civil 3D, Forma, and Navisworks, and a strong collaboration mindset to help teams meet client requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate preferred.
- Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
- Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
- Pre-employment onboarding requirements may apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex technical assignments specific to BIM and project requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other professionals, fostering skill development and knowledge transfer.
- Be recognized for proficiency in BIM software, modeling standards, or project coordination.
- Receive and execute special assignments that leverage advanced technical expertise.
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating emerging technologies and workflows into BIM processes.
