Job summary

HDR is seeking a Civil 3D/BIM Design Lead for water projects. You will create and refine design drawings and construction documents for water/wastewater facilities and pipelines, guiding the design team under supervision.

Strong Civil3D and Revit skills are essential, with collaboration across offices and a requirement to be in the office most of the work week. You will lead design efforts, coordinate with engineers and other disciplines, and ensure CAD standards are met while delivering

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Engineering Technology/CAD or 2+ years CAD experience with Autodesk certification.
• Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management.
• Knowledge of Civil3D, Revit, and related CAD standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop design and construction drawings with direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Perform routine CADD/BIM tasks with standardized electronic drafting techniques.
• Create design drawings and layouts for water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems.
• Assemble plan sets and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines.
• Learn and apply project/draft standards to drawings.
• Independently perform redline revisions and develop drawings from sketches.
• Perform basic quantity and geometry calculations.
