Timeline Design + Build in Saratoga, CA is seeking a BIM/Permit Manager to own the design-to-permit workflow. The ideal candidate is a master of Revit, has deep knowledge of local building codes, and thrives when engaging with city officials to keep permits moving efficiently.

You will lead the drafting team, produce precise construction documents, manage the permitting process from submittal to approval, and ensure plans are accurate, coordinated, and compliant across high-end residential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 5–8+ years in high-end residential design and documentation with permitting focus.
• Expert Revit proficiency including families and work-sharing.
• Strong knowledge of local codes, zoning, and permit requirements.
• Excellent communication with city officials.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting team and ensure quality, accuracy and deadlines.
• Produce precise Revit construction documents and models.
• Manage permitting process from submittal to approval.
• Coordinate with architects, estimators, and PMs.
• Maintain QA/QC and Revit standards.
