Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a BIM Modeler II in California to contribute to project delivery and standards through accurate modeling and documentation in Revit. You will work with Lead Modeler to develop families for revised standards or project-specific needs, model efficiently, and ensure progress is aligned with Rosendin standards.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of electrical drafting experience, strong self-management, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree preferred in Computerized Drafting field
• Minimum 2 years' total experience with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
• Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience
• Strong, solutions-oriented oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read 2D plans, mandating attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Capable of successfully performing all tasks of a BIM Modeler I
• Develop Revit Families for revised standards or a specific project's needs
• Efficiently model and document the project
• Perform layout and input from field details into Revit per REI Standards
• Lead modeling efforts on assigned scope
• Setup Revit views, view templates, and filters following Rosendin Standards
• Document progress of assigned work per project standards
• Maintain confidentiality and protect proprietary information
