Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks a BIM Manager in New York City to lead Bentley-based 3D MEP modeling and technical design support for OPEN BUILDINGS and CADD projects.

You will oversee multi-site CADD designs, verify survey data accuracy, and ensure deliverables align with industry standards and BIM plans. The role emphasizes QA/QC, mentoring staff, and collaboration with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–10 years BIM Modeller with Bentley focus.
• Proficiency with Bentley platforms: MicroStation, AECOsim, OpenBuildings Designer.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models of MEP systems in Bentley software per project specs.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to align models with requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet BIM standards and the BIM Execution Plan.
• Conduct clash detection and generate coordination reports.
• Produce 2D drawings from 3D models for construction documents.
• Maintain and update the BIM library and families.
