Job summary

WSP in New York City is seeking a BIM Manager to lead Bentley-based 3D modeling for complex planning and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on OPEN BUILDINGS and CADD, ensuring accurate designs and survey-aligned deliverables across multi-site scopes.

You will oversee CADD work, perform clash detection, and generate reports while maintaining BIM standards and library updates. Collaboration with engineers and project managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience as a BIM Modeller with a Bentley focus.
• Technical proficiency with Bentley platforms (MicroStation, AECOsim, OpenBuildings) and other BIM tools.
• Experience with 2D drawings, 3D modeling, and QA/QC for CADD deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models of MEP systems in Bentley per project specs.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to align models with requirements.
• Ensure deliverables meet BIM standards and BIM Execution Plan.
• Conduct clash detection and generate coordination reports.
• Produce 2D drawings from 3D models for construction documents.
• Maintain and update the BIM library and families.
• Mentor junior drafting staff and support project managers on schedule.
