Job summary

Eastern Glass & Aluminum is seeking a BIM & Drafting Coordinator in Norcross, GA. You will develop shop drawings, maintain BIM models for building envelope systems, and coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure constructibility.

Expect to review documents for conflicts, support field installations, and perform quality-control on drawings and models. 5+ years in construction drafting, BIM, or related roles preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction drafting, BIM, VDC, architectural design, or related technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate shop drawings from contract documents, architectural drawings, specifications, and approved submittals.
• Develop, maintain, and update BIM models for EGA's building envelope systems.
• Review architectural, structural, and related design documents to identify conflicts and constructability concerns.
• Perform quality-control reviews of drawings and BIM models prior to submission.
• Provide technical support to project managers and field teams throughout installation.
