Job summary

MMR Group is seeking a BIM Coordinator in Atlanta, GA to design and coordinate 3D models, shop drawings, as-builts, and field measurements. You will work with site teams and project management to resolve clashes and ensure code-compliant layouts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associates degree or higher is preferred.
• Experience as BIM Coordinator, Detailer, or Modeler is expected.
• Proficient in MEP REVIT and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design models, coordination, shop drawings, and as-builts.
• Coordinate design with other trades and ensure model aligns with contract docs.
• Prepare sketches showing wiring and equipment locations per specs.
• Apply National Electrical Codes to modeling work.
• Review drawings and identify conflicts with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical docs.
• Work with project management to resolve issues via RFIs.
• Perform site surveys and field measurements as needed.
• Maintain logs for RFIs, transmittals, and drawings.
