Job summary

Vertiv in Anderson, SC is seeking a BIM designer to support the Busbar Line of Business. You will assist engineers across architecture, electrical, mechanical and structural disciplines, focusing on modeling, coordination and model management in Revit.

The role involves creating Revit content, performing model audits, and training colleagues on BIM standards while collaborating with global teams. A BS in engineering and 1+ year BIM experience are preferred; familiarity with BIM360, Navisworks

Qualifications

• BS or above in Engineering (architecture, structural, mechanical, or electrical).
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• At least 1 year of BIM modeling experience using Revit.
• Familiarity with BIM360 or other model sharing/coordination services.
• Familiarity with coordination software such as Navisworks, Solibri etc.
• Active user of MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dynamo and the ability to read/write scripts is a plus.
• Interest in programming language is a plus but not required.
• Technical/practical skills: analytical, organizational.

Responsibilities

• Successful creation and delivery of the company's BIM models and content.
• Multi-disciplinary (Busway Routing, Architecture, Structural, Electrical) Revit modeling and BIM model creation, corrections, or updates.
• Revit content creation (Revit families, templates, protocol documents, workflows etc.).
• Training, supporting, and overseeing day-to-day activities of Revit users to ensure BIM standards are maintained.
• Regular BIM model audits and model archiving.
• Regular BIM model coordination.
• Educating the team on best technical practices regarding BIM.
• Company’s internal staff training and support regarding BIM.
