Job summary

CertainTeed is seeking a BIM Coordinator to develop and coordinate Revit-based BIM models for architectural ceilings and walls systems. The role ensures models align with product offerings, manufacturing constraints, and construction best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, Construction Management, or related field required.
• 5+ years BIM experience with advanced hands-on use of Autodesk Revit.
• 3 years coordinating BIM models in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• 3 years understanding of architectural systems, construction documentation, and manufacturer detailing.
• Ability to translate product and technical data into accurate BIM content.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (families, parameters, worksets, phasing, documentation).

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Revit-based BIM models for CertainTeed product systems and project applications.
• Set up and manage project models including work-sharing and coordination with external models.
• Review incoming models for proper product representation and detailing.
• Provide BIM QA/QC of deliverables and enforce standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Sales for accurate digital models.
• Provide internal training and support on BIM tools and content.
