Job summary

BLOX in Alabama is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Coordinator to develop data-rich model content and uphold BIM standards across design, manufacturing, and construction teams. You will work hands-on in Revit, Inventor, Forma, and Fabrication CADmep to optimize project workflows, support accurate coordination, and drive efficient information handoffs.

Ideal candidates bring strong problem-solving skills, collaboration across disciplines, and a passion for new technology in modular construction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BIM coordination experience in multidisciplinary design and construction environments.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit with ability to curate information-rich models.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Forma, Inventor, and Fabrication CADmep.
• Understanding of building systems and construction sequencing.
• Experience with scripting/automation tools like Dynamo or Grasshopper.

Responsibilities

• Develop information-rich Revit and Inventor model content for design, manufacturing, and construction.
• Provide clash detection and constructability reviews using Forma Model Coordination.
• Uphold and contribute to BIM standards across projects.
• Support design, manufacturing, and construction teams in using Forma.
• Apply construction sequencing knowledge to improve model accuracy and planning.
• Research and implement tools to streamline data handoffs between teams.
• Develop and implement workflows using Dynamo, Grasshopper, or other automation tools.
• Evaluate and adopt new software tools for automation and documentation.
